We are fortunate to have spacious and appealing indoor and outdoor areas that are always evolving.
In 2012 our tireless parent community successfully delivered a second room to our centre a result of a successful application for a government grant. This room was operating from the beginning of 2013 and so we are able to extend hours of operation for both our three year old and four year old groups.
We recognize the importance of a thoughtfully planned learning environment and our well equipped playrooms are designed to maximize children’s play opportunities.
We include areas for group and solitary play, art areas, dramatic play, construction, literacy, numeracy and science. Children explore these zones independently with staff interacting to support the learning that occurs.
Our large, private outdoor area which provides limitless opportunity for natural play is enhanced by our beautiful 100 year old oak tree. This tree together with large UV protective sail provide an abundance of shade in our peaceful garden.
We have a large range of climbing structures, an adventure garden, a sand play area and a large covered verandah. Our water tank allows the children to enjoy unrestricted water play. Children are encouraged to visit our worm farm and care for our various plantings.
